REVIEWS!!!
John H. Müller, October 14, 2018, (www.onlinemerker.com):
***************************************************
John H. Müller, October 14, 2018, (www.onlinemerker.com):
... Rudolf Schock had its own style,
sang straight from the heart. And that is exactly what
characterizes these song recordings, which come from Schock’s best singing
years. What immediately
catches the first listen of the two CDs is the absolutely natural approach to
the art form of the song. Schock sings these jewels of the German songs without
ever being grandiloquent. It is important to admire the exact intonation, the
legato, its amazingly long breath and its natural musicality. And above all,
his word clarity should be praised! Particularly noteworthy is Adolf Stauch, the excellent companion on the piano. In addition to
his pianistic virtuosity, he never pushes himself into the foreground and is
the singer a peer duo partner ...
Rüdiger Winter, October, 2018,
(www.operalounge.de):
... It is obvious to him that Rudolf Schock always interprets events, sensations or impressions
in terms of content. His listeners should understand what is happening, what
the composers and their poets want to communicate. He senses this with his sure
stage instinct and passes it on. That made him so unique, that was his success
even with those people who did not dare to perform in a Wagner performance.
Anyone who listens attentively through the album will
notice that every word is understandable - even "Das
Grillchen (the grill)", which "ergötzt
(delights)" on "Anakreon's Grave" by Hugo
Wolf, is not to be missed ... .. Schock’s song singing is also language
care....

In 1947 Schock made his first
recordings on shellac disc. He sounded from the
beginning of the fifties on LP (25 and 30 cm) and in the
season 1957/58 on stereo LP.
Music
cassettes with Schock
came and disappeared, LPs
'in surround sound ( quadrafonie)'
ditto, but in
1980 a Rudolf Schock-LP with digital recorded songs
of Carl Loewe
was a harbinger of what from 2000 would be called "the digital age".The digital Compact Disc (Rudolf Schock must have known the new disc!) pushed the analog LP away into the background
and was at the beginning of the 21st century the ultimate sound carrier!

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but
I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your
next post, I'll try to get the hang of it!
Appreciate the recommendation. Will try it out.
Why viewers still make use of to read news papers when in this technological globe the whole thing is accessible on web?
